GRIFFIN had a good weekend with goals from Battel (4), Wallow (2), Ashbury and Callow earning a 8-1 Division One win over Windowplas, Jackson getting the reply.
Goals from Jones and Wood saw Church Inn to a 2-1 win at Halligans, Fletcher scoring for the home side.
In Division Two a Craig hat-trick and one from Burke saw Little Hulton CC to a 4-2 home victory over NW Paper, Hall and Foy the loser's scorers.
FC Baroc and Tonge United drew 2-2, Aspinall and Swindells scoring for the hosts and Hart and Hilton for the visitors. Evans got two for Farnworth Whites but still finished on the losing side as strikes from Wallbank (3), Dean, Mitchell and Raison saw Hare and Hounds home 6-2 Wallington and Ross netted hat-tricks and Booth one in Jolly Waggoner's 7-4 home win over Greenfield, Robson and Swale both scoring twice in response.
Stoneclough Grapes' defence is leaking goals having let six through against Wellington but as the forwards managed to smack in fourteen it hardly matters. Mather got four, Fox and Fletcher three plus Gibson two. Wellington's scorers were Coleman with three, Johnson, Gilmore and Selridge.
Hare and Hounds Breightmet beat Bibbys 6-1, goals coming from Aldred (3), Gibson (2) and Howarth with Cameron replying. Doffcocker won 4-2 at Farmers Arms courtesy of strikes from Pike, Cocorane, smith and Taylor, Keeler and Cannon responding. Beaumont won 5-4 at Clifton Rangers.
