Twenty-four-year old former National Champion (1999), Jamie won the Bristol Challenger in July and a week later was a finalist at another Challenger event in Manchester.
These grass court achievements came on the back of second round appearances at the Stella Artois Championship, Samsung Open and Wimbledon where he upset Russian Andrei Medvedev before running into Andre Agassi in the second round.
