TOTTINGTON actress Lisa Riley is making a dramatic return to the TV screens next month.
Lisa, who played man-eater Mandy Dingle in Emmerdale left the show a year ago after viewers saw her cheating on husband Paddy.
Since then Lisa has had a full career, hosting "You've Been Framed", appearing in a beer commercial and taking a starring role in pantomime.
Lisa is currently filming new scenes for Emmerdale which will be screened in mid November when fans of the Yorkshire Television soap will see her burst back into the village.
After she left husband Paddy found a new love and programme bosses promise Mandy's reappearance will lead to some dramatic storylines.
"It is fair to say there are going to be a few fireworks," said a spokesman. But Mandy is not expected to stick around for long as her contract is only due to last a month.
Her return to the Yorkshire soap opera adds to the growing influence of actors from the Bolton and Bury area on the other side of the Pennines.
Marlon Dingle is played by former Canon Slade School pupil Mark Charnock.
And Lostock actress Amy Nuttall joined the soap last year as waitress Chloe Atkinson. DRAMATIC RETURN: Lisa Riley (above) is currently filming new scenes for Emmerdale and left, former Canon Slade School pupil Mark Charnock and Lostock actress Amy Nuttall
