ARTIM Sakiri is hoping a 69-cap international career and Champions League experience will finally secure his dream move to the Reebok.

Wanderers officials and the Macedonian international will stand before a Home Office appeals tribunal on Monday hoping to overturn the refusal of his work permit application.

The original application was rejected on the grounds that Macedonia are outside the top 70 of FIFA-ranked nations.

But Wanderers are hoping video evidence and statements from officials in Sweden, where Sakiri gained European experience in two seasons with Halmstad, will help them win the day.

Sam Allardyce, who has a reputation for persistence and perseverence in his transfer dealings, considers the 28-year-old Macedonian captain a snip at the £250,000 he will cost if his transfer from Slovenian club Gorica is finally given the green light.

Meanwhile, Wanderers have been linked with Stefan Schmidt, a £1 million-rated midfielder with the Danish club Lyngby.
