PER Frandsen gave an insight into the effort Wanderers put into the game at Old Trafford when he revealed why he admitted he did not have the energy to celebrate with matchwinner Michael Ricketts.
"The goal came at a great time for us," the midfielder said as he reflected on the 84th minute strike. "But I was so knackered I couldn't run after him - even though it gave us an unbelievable win, something you could only dream about before the game."
Frandsen admitted he feared United might control the game after Juan Veron gave them a 25th minute lead but Kevin Nolan's equaliser 10 minutes later and Jussi Jaaskelainen's saves just before half time proved inspirational.
"I thought when they scored it was going to be easier for them," the Dane said, "but we just kept going. Kevin scored a great goal and Jussi made big saves as well. You always have confidence in this team playing well away from home."
Frandsen, who returned after a two match lay-off with an ankle injury was convinced he should have been awarded a penalty five minutes into the second half when Veron - the midfielder he rates as world class - tripped him as he darted into the area.
"It was definitely a penalty," he argued. "He took my leg."
Nolan had no doubts either. "I was very, very convinced it was a penalty. I think Per played for it but Veron did catch him."
