A POCKET play pack has been launched by the British Heart Foundation aimed at children from seven years old -- because experts say they are getting too fat.
The BHF reveal that a quarter of seven to 16 year olds are not encouraged to exercise by their parents.
They have launched a keep fit pack aimed at children from seven to 10 to bring fun back to physical activity.
The charity claim children are getting fatter by not keeping fit and are putting themselves at risk of developing heart disease in later life.
The packs are available free to teachers and parents by ringing the British Heart Foundation on 0870 909 0111.
