BOLTON AND DISTRICT POOL LEAGUE: LAMB Guzzlers started the season with a 6-1 win over Shakespeare, to take an early lead in the World Rules Premier Section. In joint second there is a welcome return for Grapes, with a 5-2 win over Black Bull, and Staff of Life also winning 5-2 over Spread Eagle. Also with a win in the first week was Legionnaires, 4-3 over Central Bar.

On a sad note, we have lost three names who were unable to form a team. Section Three LLWMC and Turkey Trotters, and Section Four Dog/Partridge B.
