A BURY woman found dead in bed at her home had a history of alcoholism and other health problems, an inquest was told. Bury District Coroner Barrie Williams opened the hearing into the death of 52-year-old Joyce Lillian Clark.
The former machinist, of Deal Street, Bury, who had been on long term sickness benefit, was known to have been drinking prior to her death on October 13. Coroner's officer Geoff Cave said police inquiries had ruled outside involvement in Mrs Clark's death.
The coroner adjourned the hearing for the outcome of the further medical tests and a report from Mrs Clark's doctor.
