AFTER attending Royal Bolton Hospital for the last 10 weeks, I have to ask just what is going on?
My hospital records have been "lost" twice.
On one occasion, at one clinic, it seemed almost everybody's records had been "lost", with a note apologising. Reporting to reception desk, my x-rays were lifted out of the trolley to go to the doctor.
Ten minutes later, they had been "lost". Understandably, the doctors and nurses were very frustrated.
The system worked before and, to gain the "stars" the RBH deserve, I think a complete shake-up is needed and money spent on more nurses and doctors and less on admin staff.
Come on, the powers-that-be, with all the "pressures" the hospital is under, don't you think it's time for a radical change in the everyday running of "our" hospital.
