ALEX Penarski's world title fight look set to go ahead on a Thai Boxing show on Sunday November 4.
Penarski, 46, was due to fight Wayne Mad Dog Barker tonight at Queen Elizabeth Hall in Oldham but the cruiserweight bout was called off amid safety concerns.
It will now go ahead at Horwich Leisure Centre. Penarski's trainer and fight promoters Sandy Holt explained: "We are staging the Thai Boxing British Championships on that dayat Horwich and we will put the boxing on as soon as they end, which should be around 6.30pm," said Sandy.
"We are glad to get the fight back on and it is nice to have arranged it in Horwich because it is where Alex comes from."
