MARRIED life seems to have taken its toll on DJ Sara Cox if this picture is anything to go by...
The Radio One star's skin appears to have turned into rubber, her lips have erupted and a worrying set of wrinkles have appeared across her face.
It is enough to alienate those fans who last week placed her at number 41 in a national newspaper's list of the planet's 50 sexiest women.
Characters
But followers of the Bolton lass should not despair -- for Sara is one of dozens of celebrities being lampooned in a new Spitting Image-type show.
The 26-year-old is one of the main characters of Latex Lunch, a new programme due to start on music and comedy channel Play UK.
Former Smithills and Canon Slade pupil Sara shares her screen time with fellow Beeb presenter Jamie Theakston.
But quite what the pair will do is being kept under wraps until the show goes on air in two weeks time.
The producers say it will be "an irreverent but affectionate" look at Sara who they have dubbed "a modern-day popular icon".
She will be joined by a host of big names including Victoria and David Beckham, TV chef Jamie Oliver, Madonna and Jennifer Lopez -- each lovingly recreated in latex puppet form.
Already there have been comparisons with 1980s TV favourite Spitting Image, but screen chiefs are looking to distance the programme from such talk.
They said the set of 100 ten to 30 second comedy sketches would help define the fledgling channel.
Puppet creator Chris Meed said: "I have moved from celebrity cartoons to these 3D versions. They have saved me from becoming a celebrity stalker. Now I just create my own."
Sara has become a big star since she took over the Radio One Breakfast Show, boosting audience figures in the process.
She broke men's hearts across the country earlier this month when she tied the knot with DJ boyfriend Jon Carter at a low-key ceremony at a London Registrar's Office.
A friend of Sara said: "I'm sure she'll love the new show -- in a perverse way, it's quite flattering for her to be recognised."
