ARE you into corsets? It sounds like a joke, but if you would find a corset exhibition and other "naughty but nice" items interesting, then head along to Cedar Farm Galleries, Mawdesley, now. Especially if you're red blooded male!

The exhibition has been organised by Sara Foster who has the Etcetera clothing shop at Cedar Farm. She was inspired to put it on by artists Abigail Mill and Mattia Distasio.

She said: "Corsets and basques have moved from undergarments to items that can be worn as outer garments, for example, Madonna and Posh Spice. I thought it would be quite fun to do. It is something that elicits great interest."

Sara got the idea after visiting a trade exhibition and thought she would stage her exhibition on the back of the film Moulin Rouge.

She said: "The film is influencing fashion, not so much in clothing, but in accessories."

The corset exhibition, also featuring items such as jewellery, pictures and sculptures, started on October 19. The preview night attracted hundreds of visitors, mostly women. But Sara is expecting more guys to visit, if only to see one exhibit.

"There's a particular corset which is rubber and PVC with lacing at the back and front," she revealed. CAP
