CHORLEY go into tomorrow's clash with UniBond First Division high-fliers Leek with a doubt over last season's top scorer Danny Mills.
"Danny played last weekend when he had flu," said boss Ken Wright.
"He went straight back to bed after the game and has been struggling all week, missing the cup win over Radcliffe, and we will have to see how he is tomorrow."
On a more positive note, Lee Molyneux came back from injury in midweek and Neil Mitchell also returned after breaking his nose. And there should also be a home debut against the third-placed side for new signing David Lowe, the ex-Altrincham player.
Although Chorley have slipped down the table recently, losing their last three league games after winning the previous three, Wright isn't unduly worried about the visit of Leek.
"Everybody seems capable of beating each other in this division," he said.
Wright also revealed he was close to bringing a new face in. "I'm tracking a former League player who has been released by his club," said Wright. "He is a young man, who has first team experience."
