Fred Done's exclusive weekly betting column
THIS weekend sees the Breeders Cup meeting at Belmont Park in America.
All the big names will be there for the richest race meeting in the world.
Aiden O'Brien and Godolphin are sending their top stars such as Arc winner Sakhee and Galileo, the Derby winner. Our usual best prices are available on all the big races and there should be a massive interest across the world.
Two lucky North West punters each won £10,000 on our Irish Lottery game last week and coupled with United getting a beating I was feeling very sorry for myself on Sunday, but another week, another bet!
Do you think Fergie is happy with his defence?
Only Leicester and Middlesborough have conceded more Premiership goals so far. Which brings me to what quite honestly was the most amazing result and performance by Sam's great travelling circus.
The Wanderers winning at the 'Theatre of Dreams', who would have believed it? Mind you, two superb goals from Nolan and Ricketts gave Bolton a very deserved victory. Well done Bolton!
We actually offered Bolton at 4/1 with a goal start and a massive 33/1 for a 2-1 win. Thank goodness not many punters predicted the result but it just goes to show anything can (and occasionally does) happen.
Robbie Fowler silenced his critics at the weekend with a hat-trick of some quality as Liverpool crushed Leicester. We had Robbie at 28/1 to score a hat-trick which was the best price around.
Looking ahead to the weekend, the top of the table clash between Manchester United and Leeds looks too close to call, with a draw the most likely outcome.
Bolton are on their travels again with a tricky game at Aston Villa, but with Bolton's away form, who knows? Another victory is definitely on the cards.
Bolton to repeat last weekends result and win 2-1 at Villa is a 16/1 chance, with Ricketts to score a hat-trick at 50/1.
All the prices quoted in my column are correct at time of going to print and available from Done Bookmakers shops throughout the area.
o Dones, the official bookmakers at the Reebok Stadium, in association with the Bolton Evening News, offers you the chance to win a pair of tickets for next Saturday's Premiership clash between Wanderers and Everton at the Reebok Stadium.
All you have to do is answer this simple question: Which park separates Goodison Park and Anfield?
Send your answers on a postcard with your name, address and daytime telephone number to Reebok Competition, Bolton Evening News, Churchgate, Bolton, BL1 1DE to reach us by Tuesday, October 30.
