IT WAS doubles all round at a Bolton town centre pub when three of the nation's favourite TV celebrities popped in.
But keen-eyed punters at the Pack Horse Hotel, Nelson Square, would have spotted that it was not the real deal but a night of lookalike fun.
Steve Rooney, who is a Del Boy double, and Basil Fawlty wannabe Ed Wells, visited the Pack Horse as part of a showcase evening for people in the entertainment business.
And the two lookalikes were joined by Anthony Jenkins, from Leigh, who is a dead ringer for Matthew Kelly.
The evening was organised by Steve James, from Atherton, who owns the Shout Entertainment Agency. He said the room was packed and all the acts impressed the guests. "It was amazing. Everyone on the bill was superb. We had people from across the country and they were all impressed." Other acts who caught the eye were lookalikes of Debbie Harry, Madonna, and Neil Diamond.
And Cher double Laura Stewart, from Atherton, won praise for her spectacular costume, which included a metallic suit and head-dress. Cabaret acts on stage included Bolton duo Boy 2 One and trio Cool Breeze.
