AN inquest has been opened and adjourned in the case of an 11-month-old Radcliffe baby certified dead at Fairfield General Hospital earlier this month.
The infant, Chloe Turrell, daughter of Keeley Turrell, aged 18, of Chapel Field, Radcliffe, was born last November and at an early age had been diagnosed with various conditions including cerebral palsy, diabetes,
encephalitis and poor eyesight,
However, although the death on October 6 had been brought to the attention of the police and a Home Office pathologist, there was no evidence of any suspicious circumstances, Bury District Coroner Barrie Williams was told. Mr Williams adjourned the case pending further laboratory tests.
