Neil Moss opened the scoring after 23 minutes with a shot from the edge of the box. John Powell made it 2-0 after he raced on to a ball from Moss. Moss sealed all three points with a tremendous shot which the keeper could not hold on to. Farnworth vets are keeping the pressure on at the top with a 6-3 away victory over Cattlemarket. Tim Barrow hit four goals for Vets, the other goals coming from Wild and Raynor. Savawia, Marshall and Cooper replied for Cattlemarket. Gatehouse had an excellent 2-1 away victory against King William, Dyson and Smith both on target for Gatehouse.
Farnworth Royals picked up their second victory of the season with a 4-1 victory over Hulton Lane. In Division One, Samba still remain top after an 8-2 victory over Railway with Cover scoring six of his team's goals, the other two coming from sub mark Price. Rigby Taylor let a 3-1 lead slip and had to settle for a 3-3 draw. Irving with two and Gibbons were on target for Rigbys. Evans replied with a hat-trick for Faux Forest. G H Maughan picked up their first win of the season with a 4-2 away victory against Poacher. Danials, Mutton and Holmes on target for Maughan.
Royal Hotel moved into second spot in Division One after a 2-1 away victory against Queen's. Green Boys had an excellent 3-1 home victory over Great lever. Halliday put Sharples one up against Kings Arms but King hit back and ran out 4-1 winners.
