BOLTON television presenter Vernon Kay will present this year's Smash Hits Poll Winners Party.
The 28-year-old has been asked to help front the show, to be aired on Channel 4 on December 9.
It is the latest project for Lostock-born Vernon who began his career as a model.
The former Mount St Joseph School pupils -- and Bolton Council cleaner -- said: "I'd like to see the reunification of Boyzone. With what's happened in the press, all the squabbling, to see them back together at the Smash Hits party would be a memorable moment."
He also revealed his most memorable moment from previous poll winners parties was Take That winning an award. He confessed: "I was a huge Take That fan."
