SIX people were injured after a car crashed into a telegraph pole in Darcy Lever.
The driver of the Peugeot 205 GTi lost control as he was negotiating a bridge in Radcliffe Road shortly before 7pm on Saturday near the junction of Snowhill Road.
Reece Comer, aged 22, of Pennine View, Audenshaw, suffered serious plevic and leg injuries.
Passengers Anthony Langstreth, aged 20, of St Helens Road, Bolton, Tehya Kanso, aged 16, of Melton Row, Radcliffe, David Migas, aged 20, of Worston Avenue, Johnson Fold, Jonathan Barron, aged 23, of Heaton Avenue, Little Lever and 21-year-old Stuart Chrimes of Marsh Road, Little Lever, all suffered minor injuries.
They were all taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the accident to call Bolton Traffic Police on 0161 856 5973.
Meanwhile, a 22-year-old man was taken to hospital after two cars collided in Tonge Moor Road at about 8.45pm yesterday.
Paul Arcas, of Vale Street, Turton, was the passenger in a Vauxhall Astra and suffered minor injuries.
The driver Ian Cox, 22, from New Lane, Breightmet, escaped injury.
Mark Rostron, 21, from Hebble Close, Bromley Cross, was driving a Vauhall Corsa and also was uninjured.
