THIEVES stole a baby's cot from a car in Farnworth.
Six-month-old Jordan Roberts' travel cot was in the boot of his grandparents' car after he had stayed with them the previous night.
After dropping Jordan off at his home in Moorside Avenue at 7.30pm on Thursday, his father Dave went to deliver some sandwiches to Dickson Green Labour Club.
Mr Roberts left the car, which was parked outside the club in Mossfield Road, for a couple of minutes -- long enough for thieves to take the cot, some baby clothes, the car handbook and vehicle documents.
When Mr Roberts discovered the theft he realised he had accidentally left the car unlocked.
Within 15 minutes of the theft Jordan's mum, Lisa Blower, had found the mattress from the cot, discarded at Century Lodge.
Miss Blower said: "I feel angry and upset. I know there are thieves, but it's awful to steal from a baby."
