MICHAEL Serridge has come up with a winning formula for his soccer side -- just keep it in the family.
The football-crazy team includes dad, son, nephew and cousin -- who all notched a goal, or two, at a crunch amateur game.
Now, they believe they are on to a winning streak with their latest addition -- John Carty who is set to marry into the family soon.
Michael, aged 42, of Radcliffe, has been playing amateur football for the past 27 years with a variety of clubs.
Currently he is captain of The Wellington Pub side which competes in the Bolton Sunday League -- and he has brought a whole new meaning to the phrase Sundays are for families.
Michael said: "The match the other Sunday was a great game. We won 7-4.
"I scored two goals, my nephew John scored four, and my son, Michael scored one.
"Jamie, my cousin, came on as substitute in the second half but failed to score -- he thinks he let the side down!
"I think the other team, Bibby and Baron, were a bit amazed.
"To be honest, we haven't had much luck recently. We've only been playing together for one season but we finally look like we've got it together.
"I think the spectators were a bit amused when the same name made it in the scorecard seven times."
