BURY have been handed a vital cash payout, thanks to former goalkeeper Dean Kiely's success.
The Shakers will receive £50,000 after Kiely - currently sporting a black eye after a training ground clash with former Wanderers' star Andy Todd - played his 90th match for Charlton Athletic at the weekend. The cash is a Godsend for Bury chairman Terry Robinson who is still fighting to keep the club financially afloat while the take-over saga drags on.
Bury have been drawn away to Lincoln City in the first round of the FA Cup on November 17.
