THE Goldline Trophy will continue tonight when Charnock Richard and Eagley contest the first quarter-final at Atherton Collieries.
The game was originally scheduled to be the second match of the knockout stages but will now kick-start the round after last week's fixture between Atherton Town and Hindsford was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The tie between two West Lancashire league sides promises to be a gripping one but defending champions Charnock will start as favourites having gone unbeaten in their opening 13 league matches.
Eagley, who lie sixth in the division after struggling to beat a below-par Tempest United at the weekend, will fancy their chances after their opponents made hard work of beating Enfield in the Lancashire Shield. Kick-off 7.30pm.
