Astley Miners took full advantage of Vets' defeat with a 6-2 victory over Cattlemarket. John Powell hit a hat-trick for Miners, Moss (2) and Gaskell also on target.

Hulton Lane and Ellesmere had to settle for a point each in a 2-2 draw. Howarth and Hayes on target for Hulton Lane, Whiteley and Halliwell replied for Ellesmere.

Farnworth Royals were the League's highest scorers with a 7-0 victory against King William. Potter, Hulton and Tillot all scored two goals each, the seventh coming from Chris Simpson.

Spread Eagle had an excellent 2-1 victory against Masons Arms, Lee Hodgson on target twice, Andy Barlow replied for Masons.

In Division One, Samba still remain top of the table after a 2-0 victory over Faux Forest, Clough and cover on target for Samba.

Poacher picked up their first victory of the season with a 1-0 victory over Kings Arms. Ian Power sealed the points for Poacher with a well taken goal.

GH Maughan and Sharples had to settle for a 3-3 draw. On target for Maughan was Dave Jones with a hat-trick, his first goal coming after only 20 seconds. Wild and two goals from Vaughan replied with Sharples goals.

Queens' title hopes are still alive thanks to a 3-2 victory over Green Boys. Knowles, Phillips and Fletcher were on target for Queens.

Railway and Hitachi had a 10 goal thriller, Railway running out 6-4 winners. Bingham with a hat-trick, Holland, Pitchard and Williams on target for Railway. Two goals from Simon Kirby plus goals from Williams and McKay replied for Hitachi.
