A FEW seconds of CCTV film footage captured Lee Edgar's violent attack on a friend.
Although the other individual involved in the drunken brawl refused to make a statement to police, a court at Bury was told that the conclusion of the fight could be clearly seen.
On the film, Edgar is caught kicking his friend at the time, Glynn Schofield, twice as he sat slumped on the ground.
Prosecuting, Marion Nolan said: "It is an unusual case in that the complaint has not made any statement. However, the defendant can be seen on film kicking the other man."
Edgar, aged 21, of Goldfinch Drive, Bury, admitted using or threatening unlawful violence. His case was adjourned until November 20 to allow a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
