Clitheroe 2 Atherton Colls 1
A PLAYER sent off just before the interval, a failed floodlight and a goal which came out of the darkness on 93 minutes robbed Colls of any reward for a superb showing.
They had taken the lead against the run of play on 41 minutes when Nicky Fisher finished from Keith Best,s cross but were reduced to ten men before the break when Lee Potter was red carded for dissent. A floodlight failure at the end Colls had to defend made life even more difficult and the home side levelled on the hour and as the gloom worsened controversially took all three points in injury time. Colls keeper Cyril Sharrock was named man of the match.
