I AM writing on behalf of all the Jameson family to say thank you to the many friends who sent their love and best wishes and to all those who visited Nina while she was a patient in Hope Hospital.
She was there for nine months over the last year and nursed with the utmost nursing and medical care on several wards -- F2, M2, L5, G3 and L1.
Sadly, she died on October 19, but she had already started a fund with which to buy a renal chair for the renal unit in Hope Hospital. When the fund is complete, this will be handed over to the hospital.
Despite much criticism of the NHS in recent years, the staff at Hope Hospital maintained a thoughtful and dedicated service. We owe them many very grateful thanks.
