HAVING been away on holiday last week, I missed the Wanderers' magnificent

performance at Old Trafford. This must go down as one of the most memorable games in the club's history.

I managed to see the goals on TV and both were tremendous. I just wish I could have been their amongst the 3,000 Wanderers fans. The atmosphere must have been unbelievable!

What I find even more unbelievable is the fact that the Sports Postbag received only one letter celebrating our glorious victory!

I can only assume our fans were too hung-over from their celebrations!

I'd just like to urge all the Wanderers faithful to really get behind the team, through thick and thin, for the rest of the season.

We've done magnificently so far, but until we reach the elusive 40 points (or more - remember last time!) we can't take anything for granted! We will never have a better chance of gaining a foothold in The Premiership. Sam has got the players working their socks off and the spirit in the squad is fantastic. We, the supporters, have now got to show how much WE want top-flight football.

The Reebok is a magnificent stadium, the manager is clearly the man for the job and the whole set-up is geared for the Premiership. There should be no empty spaces at home games!

If we REALLY want to see the Wanderers competing, as they have done so superbly this season, against the likes of Liverpool, Leeds , Arsenal and United, get down there and give the lads the support they will need, and which their efforts this season so richly deserve! See you on Saturday!
