A WOMAN needed oxygen therapy after suffering shock when trees near her home set on fire last night.
The 82-year-old pensioner declined hospital treatment but needed emergency oxygen after she became short of breath and went into shock.
The trees, close to houses on Springside Avenue, Walkden, were thought to have been accidentally set on fire from sparks from a bonfire in a nearby garden.
