A WOMAN had to be evacuated from her home in Daubhill early today after a candle fell over and started a fire in the bathroom.
The occupier of the house in Cobham Avenue waited outside while firefighters wearing breathing apparatus went inside and put out the flames at 6.30am.
The room was smoke-logged, but not badly damaged. The woman did not need hospital treatment.
