Sports rule SPORTSMAN are top of Section Two of the Bolton and District Winter Pool League. Sportsman are unbeaten so far this season. Last week's 4-3 win over Beaumont gives them a one point lead over Black Horse B.

Black Horse B are in second place -- also unbeaten. Last week's result of 4-3 over Lever Bridge keeps them in touch with the leaders.

In third place are Churchills who had a good 5-2 win over Stalkers to keep them four points adrift of the leaders.

The first round draw for the Captain's KO is to be played on Wednesday November 7. Players must be in attendance for play to start at 8.30pm. All venues must be adhered to. Result cards to be at the league headquarters (Churchills) by 8pm Sunday following the match.

Missing result cards will result in the winner not being entered into next round. All venues play to a winner.
