FIVE schools lit up Atherton with their Eurosing 2001 spectacular.
Pupils from Hesketh Fletcher High and Tyldesley Fred Longworth High, Garrett Hall Primary School, Hindsford St Anne's and Westleigh Methodist primaries joined forces to entertain at Hesketh Fletcher school.
The concert was masterminded by Rick Astbury, head of expressive arts at Fred Longworth, as a European Year of Languages celebration.
Mr Asbury said: "The event was a resounding success."
Involving 150 children, the project aimed to bridge the gap between primary and secondary schools' music as well as giving students the opportunity to come together to share their work.
