THE search is on for qualified sports coaches in the Bolton area.
Bolton Metro leisure bosses believe that there will be an increased demand from local people to learn sports next year as the Commonwealth Games come to town.
The Games' badminton competition will be held at The Arena at Horwich and the cycling events at Rivington.
They want to hear from fully-qualified coaches in soccer, abseiling, trampolining, gymnastics, badminton, judo, cricket, netball, dance, weight training, snorkelling, aquafit, tennis, swimming, boxercise, volleyball, aerobics, archery, basketball, canoeing, fencing, rugby, squash and fitness.
A leisure services spokeswoman said: "Because of the demands for more and more courses which offer progression to people in their chosen sport, we are looking for more coaches to work in our 14 leisure centres."
Anyone who would like to get involved should contact Chris Jackson in the first instance.
