ANDY Preece has admitted the pressures of knowing that he might have to sell his best players.

The Bury manager was reacting to the midweek statements by chairman Terry Robinson who said that because of the financial position at the club, it was likely that more players would be offloaded.

"It is a difficult job," agreed the manager. "When you are struggling financially and knowing that you might have to sell someone if the right offer comes along it doesn't make it any easier.

"I have to understand the position that the club's in and I have to go with it.

"If the take-over keeps taking as long as it is what do we do? Do we close the club or sell a player? It is better that Bury Football Club is still here."
