Radcliffe Boro 0, Accrington Stanley 0
BORO face a mountainous task in Wednesday's replay having spurned opportunities to kill off this FA Umbro Trophy Round One tie at the first time of asking.
It was a game which should have finished comfortably in Radcliffe's favour as Stanley rarely threatened. The writing was on the wall with just two minutes gone as home striker Richard Landen fired over the bar from two yards out.
Chance after chance went begging but on 68 minutes Boro were awarded a penalty as David Bean's header was handled on the line by full back Russell Payne who was also red carded for the offence. Midfielder Mark Dempsey was crestfallen to see his spot kick saved.
