HOCKEY goalkeeper Greg Ruxton, a pupil at Rivington and Blackrod school, is doing great things for Blackpool based West Coast Wasps roller hockey club.
The team won the BiSHA UK peewee championships last year and at the weekend added the IISHF Peewee European Cup in Holland to their trophy cabinet.
Greg, who conceeded no goals - the first keeper in the tournament's history to achieve such a feat - was awarded top goalie and made the all stars team.
The feat of conceding no goals over finals weekend has never happened before at any age group and is a fantastic achievement, so good that BiSHA even stated that they want to create a permanant display case featuring Greg's shirt!
