This photograph of pupils at Farnworth Grammar School school in about 1935 has been sent to me by Mr Alan Hudson, of Bradford Park Drive, The Haulgh, Bolton.

It belonged to his late wife Vera Whitehead. Those on the picture were named in very small writing, but I have done my best to decipher them. Apologies if any are wrong. The names are:
