THE weekend saw the top division Bolton Sunday League leaders widening their cushion of comfort but the other two tables have new names at the top.
Anglers moved six points clear at the top of Division One with Connolly (2), Ryan (2), Baines (2), Wilcox and Hulme goals sealing a 8-1 victory at New Edition. Jones got the home team's consolation goal.
Little Hulton Cricket Club went clear at the top of Division Two with a 10-1 away win at Jolly Waggoner. Joe Craig led the way with ten, Cooper got two, Sutherland and Patchet one each. Roscoe was the scorer for the hosts.
Smaile and Robson scored for Greenfield and Dran and McMagee for Hare and Hounds in a 2-2 stalemate.
Seven Stars leapfrogged over Grapes, Stoneclough at the top of Division Three with Whitehead, Schofield and Lord sealing a 3-1 home win over Bibbys. Cope was the man on the mark for the visitors.
Smith (2), Cockerham and Pike saw Doffcocker to a 4-1 home victory over Hare and Hounds Breightmet, Gibson responding. North West Paper ran ten past Farnworth Whites for one in reply with Conway geatting a hat-trick, Barlow, Samuels and Rapier two and Foy one. Kitchen was the Farnworth scorer.
