TWO wheeled fun with mum has ended for Bolton twins after a thief snatched their unusual mode of transport.
For the last two years Jayne Harrop has taken sons Aaron and Jacob everywhere in their special bicycle trailer.
The single mum, who does not drive, has cycled all her life and when 10-year-old daughter Charlotte was born she attached a seat to the back of her cycle.
When the boys were born four years ago she feared her cycling days were over and she would have to rely on buses and walking to get out and about from their home in Seaforth Road, Astley Bridge.
Then two years ago she found the trailer, which is one of only three in Bolton.
The boys can sit inside while she takes them to school and the family can go on trips to the shops together, with Charlotte now pedalling her own bike. "I am not a fitness freak. The bike just gets me from A to B quickly and cheaply," said Jayne, aged 33.
But on Monday when she came out of Bolton College, where she is studying joinery and carpentry, she found that someone had detached the trailer from the bike and stolen it.
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the trailer can contact the police or her on 07947 746843.
