HAVING attended the game on Saturday, and sitting in the East Stand Upper, I became aware of around 15 Everton fans in front of us in the Nat Lofthouse Stand.
When Everton scored they went beserk, and began taunting
the fans around them. This is certainly not the first time that it has happened - it happens regularly, almost every game. I can accept that having paid vast amounts of money for the seats in the NLS that the corporate hospitality would obviously be a part of the reason for buying the seat allocation.
It is to my dismay however that the away fans are not made aware that they should behave themselves, and in fact go out of their way to be respectful to those sat around. If they do in fact carry on any behaviour that may cause distress in any way, shape or form, then they should be ejected and the people responsible for the seats be informed as to their responsibility for those using the tickets - and the fact that if any more trouble happens then they will have their rights to the seats forfeited.
I have travelled away and sat in the home ends, at all times respecting those around me and bearing in mind trouble could occur.
Why aren't the people responsible made aware that humans are after all only human, and when provoked do irrationable things, and therefore if a normally law abiding ticket holder is provoked, trouble ensues, and the home fan then receives any sort of ban or retribution, then shouldn't BWFC be held responsible themselves for that act?
Keep away fans out of home sections - be it in corporate hospitality or elsewhere if they can not assure of their conduct during the game. Simple!
