POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an accident involving a Bolton man in Salford.
At 10.45am yesterday a grey Ford Escort van, driven by a 24-year-old man from Bolton, was turning into Eccles Old Road when it was involved in a collision with a Honda motorbike, being driven by a 17-year-old man from Irlam.
The motorcyclist suffered a broken right wrist, broken left leg and a possible fractured skull and was taken to Hope Hospital where he is in a stable condition.
