POLICE investigating a fatal road crash near Bury are appealing for a lorry driver who may hold vital information to come forward.
Craig Whelan, aged 14, was driving a Reliant Rialto, early on Saturday morning was heading westbound in lane three of the M60 between junctions 17 and 16.
A large articulated goods vehicle was travelling in lane one and as the vehicles approached junction 16, the Reliant drove behind the lorry and on to the slip road where it was in collision with a road sign.
Police are appealing for the driver of the lorry to come forward and contact Salford traffic unit on 0161 856 5071.
