BRITISH Airways has responded to falling transatlantic bookings by cutting its Manchester-New York business class fare by over 40 per cent.
The deal is only available through selected corporate travel agencies and is valid for travel until December 31, 2001.
The airline is also attempting to kick-start the UK's corporate travel market by offering 50,000 free business class tickets. Passengers booking any long-haul flight in one of BA's premium cabins before the end of the year will be able to take a partner for free the next time they fly.
Local company St Andrews Travel has been appointed agents for both promotions. More details from Paul Sutton on (01204) 398900.
