Accrington Stanley 2 Radcliffe Boro 0
THE feeling for Boro supporters that this FA Umbro Trophy tie should have been wrapped up at the first time of asking proved well founded as Premier Division Accrington sealed a 2-0 replay victory.
Saturday's game had finished scoreless with Boro dominant but unlucky, even missing a penalty.
The rematch saw one time Boro favourite Simon Carden dump his former club out of the Trophy with both Stanley's goals. The first on 37 minutes came as he charged down a clearance from keeper Danny Hurst and slotted in the loose ball. The second on 70 minutes was a quality delicate chip. The Boro man of the match award went to defender James Price.
