ARSONISTS set three cars on fire last night in the Chorley Old Road area of Bolton. The wrecked vehicles were a Toyota Starlet, a Metro and a Peugeot. A private hire care was also set on fire in Tonge Moor.
Crews were called out between 8pm and 11pm to the incidents, which happened off Chorley Old Road.
The first vehicle was a Toyota Starlet, which was set alight on the car park of Avondale health centre, on Avondale Street.
The second, at 10pm, was a Metro which was destroyed while parked on Burnham Avenue.
The third, a Peugeot, was also set alight on Mortfield Lane, at 11pm.
Firefighters also had to put out extinguish a private hire taxi which caught fire after an electrical fault on Tonge Moor Road, Tonge Moor.
