A MAN has been jailed by Bolton magistrates for three separate offences.
Robert Telford, aged 18, of Tig Fold Road, Farnworth, pleaded guilty to being a passenger in a stolen vehicle, handling stolen goods and failing to surrender to bail.
Telford's solicitor said the defendant was suffering from the withdrawal effects of taking heroin.
Magistrates jailed Telford for one month for travelling in a stolen vehicle and disqualified him from driving for three months. He was sentenced to one month in prison for handling stolen goods and two weeks for failing to surrender to bail.
The sentences will run consecutively.
