A Little Hulton church is celebrating its 125th anniversary with a weekend of events.
The Parish Church of St Paul, Peel, which opened in 1876, will kick off the special weekend with a birthday family disco on December 14 at 7.30 pm.
On Saturday, December 15, again starting at 7.30 pm, there will be a 'Star for a Night' talent show. Supper will be available at £1 each.
At both events there will be a licensed bar until 11 pm.
The Bishop of Bolton, David Gillett, will speak at a birthday celebration service on Sunday, December 16, beginning at 10.45 am. Songs of Praise will start at 3 pm.
