A Concert for Armistice Day is being held in the Albert Halls, Bolton, at 7.30pm. Bolton symphony Orchestra perform under the direction of Stephen Threlfall.
The soloist will be a pupil from Chetham's School of Music.

The Horwich Remembrance parade starts at Emmett Street at 11.15am.
In Westhoughton a Remembrance service will be held at the Parish Church of St Bartholomew at 10am followed by a ceremony at the war memorial at 10.45am.

Blackburn Cathedral -- 9.30am, a service with the Borough of Blackburn and Darwen Civic Service.
In Leigh the parade will assemble at the Marsh Gymnasium, Ulleswater Street, at 10.15am and march via Railway Road, Market Street, Lord Street, Charles Street and Church Street to the war memorial.
In Atherton marchers will congregate at the Formby Hall at 10.30am and proceed via Market Street and Leigh Road to the memorial at the Leigh Road/Hamilton Street junction. The return procession will be via Leigh Road, Mealhouse Lane, Bolton Road and High Street.
