FARMERS across rural Bolton were celebrating after livestock movement restrictions imposed in the wake of the foot and mouth outbreak were officially lifted.
However, a special 'Autumn Movement' licences must be obtained by any farmer wanting to transport livestock. A spokesman for Bolton Council's Trading Standards Department said: "There have been no recorded cases in Bolton and the last case recorded in Lancashire came in September."
