Wanderers defender Leam Richardson today became the fourth Reebok star to go out on loan when he joined Second Division Notts County.
Richardson, who has made one appearance in the Premiership this season when he came off the bench in the goalless draw at Leeds, will go to Meadow Lane for the rest of the season.
The deal is believed to be geared to give the 21-year-old prospect first team experience and not with a view to a permanent deal.
It follows similar deals which have seen Dean Holden, Paul Wheatcroft and Ian Marshall join Oldham, Rochdale and Blackpool.
Wanderers boss Sam Allardyce said: "Leam's move to Meadow Lane will provide him with regular first team football and also some valuable experience."
Wanderers are still keen to boost their squad and the latest player to be linked with a move to the Reebok is Parma striker Patrick Mboma.
The Cameroon attacker could be the man to strengthen the Whites strikeforce but Wanderers could face a struggle to persuade the Italian club to part with the 28-year-old if the speculation is correct.
Parma say they know of Wanderers' reported interest but that Bolton have not made contact.
One stumbling block to any possible move could be that the Italian club insists they will not allow the player to go out on loan.
Parma sports director Fabrizio Larini said: "We have not had contact with Bolton Wanderers in relation to a Patrick Mboma transfer and we are not interested to any loan of the player."
Wanderers are also linked with Argentine striker Martin Cardetti and they have handed a trial to Icelandic strikers Mattias Gudmundsson and Armann Smari Bjornsson.
The two players have come over from Icelandic club Valur with whom Wanderers are establishing a link.
Dean Holden spent a spell on loan there last season while Gudmundsson and Bjornsson are the first players from Valur to come over to England. They are expected to spend at least a week with the Whites.
Valur official Sveinn Stefansson said: "They are going to Bolton along with our coach Thorlakur Arnason, and will spend seven to 10 days at the Reebok Stadium."
Gudmundsson, 21, and Bjornsson, 20, have played for the Iceland Under-21s, and both have good goalscoring records.
